I have a bump inside of my left eyelid at the bottom. I've had it for a week now and I think it's getting better. I don't want to have surgery, what are some suggestions?

Warm compresses. Some docs recommend oral antibiotics and an antibiotic/steroid eye ointment. Unless the chalazion is red and painful, I think this is overkill, and it didn't do much for me. Mine bothered me for six weeks, especially at night,so I had the ophthalomologist scrape it out. It hurt for another 2 weeks, all day. The procedure itself, however, was painless. If I had to do it over, I'd watch and wait a longer time.
