Is there some kind of giveaway, besides telling them?

Sometimes. Sometimes not.

The presence of an intact hymen (a fold of mucous membrane partly closing the orifice of the vagina ) is one giveaway, although the lack of one is not.

Active girls and women - gymnasts, horsewomen, bicyclists, dancers, etc. may be virgins but their hymen may not be intact.

Even the use of tampons can stretch or break the hymen.

Not all women are born with hymens, and hymens can break without women knowing.

Lastly, a woman's hymen could have already been broken or stretched by sexual activity, even if she has not had a male organ inside of her.

There is no easy answer here. As to some of the answers above, the level of ignorance here is painful.

Male organs come in as many sizes and shapes as there are women. The ease (or difficulty) of entry is no indication of a woman's sexual history.

Sometimes when a woman is nervous, her vaginal muscles will not relax enough to allow any man to enter her, but that doesn't make her a virgin.

On the other hand, sometimes when a woman is very aroused, she will become very lubricated and relax, and allow a man to enter her with ease, by that doesn't make her not a virgin.

There is no way to tell from the way a woman walks, talks, stands or behaves if she is or is not a virgin.

The hymen is not a bone.

Any guy who cares if you're a virgin or not isn't worth your time worrying about. If a guy only wants you if you're a virgin (whether you are or not), and will dump you if you're not -- tell him to take a hike, and go find a guy who has his head in the 21st century instead of the 14th.

As long as you're STD-free, what possible difference does it make? One of my favorite lines from a song by Bread years ago: "How many came before -- it really doesn't matter, just as long as you're the last." Yep :)

Yes, there are all sorts of body language that suggest you are not a virgin. Not all guys can pick up on it, but some of them know what to look for. But weather you have your virginity or not iznt something you should hide. You should not be judged by that. And also, if you have had lots of "play" or sex, they may be able to tell by how it feels and looks.

sometimes ppl say its by how you walk. Like if theres a space or gapping area between your thighs when you walk but I dont believe it, some ppl just walk like that. But no theres no REAL physical way to tell unless you tell them or like some of the other ppl said

physically there is no way a guy can tell. If he "slips right in" and says he didnt tear your hymen. You can easily refer him to this website. http://www.coolnurse.com/hymen.htm
