a good diet is at least 40 percent whole grain, then depending on where you're going with this and what type of exercise you do you can decide about the meat or cleaner protein

First of all, it's not All Vegetable if there's beef in it too. I haven't heard of a vegetable beef soup diet, must be something new. But it sounds like a simplified rendition of the South Beach diet, if only because there's no bread involved.

Commercial soups are easy as 1-2-3 and it's done, but they contain lots of salts, and too much salt in your diet can keep your fluid weight up. There are lower salt versions and they're more expensive (funny how they charge more to take stuff out for you). If you're going to soup it for weight loss, better to eat home-made soup, and it's not as difficult as lazy cooks like me too often imagine. You can make a big pot of it that will last several days.

Go for lean beef, use minimal salt and lots of herbal seasonings for yum yum flavor, and put whatever vegetables You like into the brew. The beef will supply the protein to keep muscle on while you lose fat weight, the vegetables and the broth will supply all the other nutrients your body needs as well.

Or, you could skip the soup craze and just eat leaner all around - lean chicken, fish, beef and pork, steamed vegetables, and a little whole wheat bread to keep you full and give you good carb energy in your day. Good Luck.

laughs.. NO!

all diets have a failure to them.

eating right is the only way.. no kidding.

the food pyramid is the best reference to what i'm talking about.

any diet that has a primary focus.. no matter what it is other than a well balanced diet.. you'll give up on it.. i mean how many times can you eat the same things? and then put the weight back on.

no... do this:

All fruits are fruit and vegetables. A "vegetable" is a plant, any part of which can be used for food.

In the superstore, fruits are usually picked out far too soon. Some are rocks, many are bad. Some of the fruit and vegetables are right (zucchini, onions, garlic, lettuce, greens, and a few others) so I'd have to go with vegetables.
