I think a card and a stuffed animal would be just fine. Since you both are new to this...I think a poem might be a bit much. Save that for your 1 yr anniversary.......or even a box of choc....good luck!

A card souunds very romantic. Any girl would love a card or even a poem. And Valentine's Day is the perfect time. An old story says that any relationship that begins on Valentine's Day is garunteed to be successful!! Good Luck!!!

Slow down. You haven't even been on a date, but you are saying you love her to death. Valentine's day is a long way off. Why don't you just ask her out on a date? You can do something simple like going out to eat or a movie. A Valentine can be really sweet. I would save the poem for later on if you two start to develop a relationship beyond your current friendship.

giv her a carntation on valentines day to go with the card! And yeah write a poem too!
dont start out with roses are red and that shyt start with something creative! she'll love that! and then dont be to shy around her! and if she's really that shy don't take things too far yet! if it doesn't work out between you two you should really find someone younger than you! BE YOURSELF CUZ SHE WILL HAVE TO FALL IN LOVE WITH THE REAL YOU!!!

good luck :]

I don't think your in love with her. You just really like her, so don't say you love her because you'll scare her away.

Just ask her out to dinner on valentines. If you want to get her something, which I wouldn't suggest, get her a simple card. Nothing to fancy for the first date.

If you want to be really original take her gummy bears or some sort of sweets she will enjoy, other than chocolate. That always works!

Luck!

I think thats romantic, but you had better make sure the date is valentines day 2 if you want to keep it that romantic. Another good idea is to not let her see this question, i have a feeling she will not aprove of you asking a million ppl about u and her.

My boyfriend and I were friends for over a year. He loved me the whole time too. : }

He made me a card and wrote a really nice poem. He even asked me out on it. It was really cute. He also gave me a little stuffed animal and a bag of chocolates. Mmmmm.

He did this last year on Valentine's. ♥
And here we are a year later!

I say... GO FOR IT.
There's nothing to lose.

Go for it, whats the worst thing that could happen? You can give her a card, some flowers, candy, and/or a poem, I'm sure she would like all of those ideas.
