It seems like the Canaanites, Amalekites and Philistines found themselves in bearing the brunt of the punishment during the lessons that Yahweh was trying to teach Israel.

If the Israelites were bad he made them loose a war to Canaan or whoever else and when the Israelites were good again he punished the others for beating Israel in the last war....

Justice anyone?

They were bloody savages that believed in sacrificing children to serpent gods.....

They should be punished...plus they had unprotected sex and that really makes G-d angry.

The Israelites were there first to my biblical knowledge. Why would they possess such amazing military might if thier intentions were not war..

Justice was found in God's promise to Israel: Whoever blesses you will be blessed, and whoever curses you will be cursed.

God promised his people peace and revenge, justice for the slaughter of thier children, and God doesn't break promises.

The jews are desperate to make all of Palestine theirs and previous that to manage the U.S. into remaking the entire Arab worldwide into something greater amenable to zionism. I help one element purely and that's relocation of the zionists. The Palestinians have not got any reason to relinquish 0.5 their country and the jews will in no way take area in a multicultural government.

No,they weren't living peaceful lives. As I said before, they were ruthless warriors who would frequently kidnap ,rape and murder Israelites. They were also people who sacrificed their children by various means. One way they did this was by putting their babies in to the hands of an idol, which would then roll down into the fire, where the babies would be burned to death.
To war against them was certainly justice.Would you be willing to let such behaviour go unpunished today?

Well they were God's chosen people and the others weren't so they got the brunt of it, but it would've came sooner or later by the way they worshipped other gods and so forth. There is no way they were living peaceful lives, they never got the blessings of God.

They were warrior people, didn't know the word peaceful. They got their riches by attacking and killing others.

Peaceful, if you consider sacrificing your children to Baal, peaceful. I consider that justifiable enough.

Do you really think that GOD doesn't use those that are opposed to us in order to offer us Godly instruction.
