I really don't know how it happened. But I have become obsessed with my weight. I gained a lot of weight during both of my pregnancies. I am now 5'5 and 135-140 pds. I feel like a blimp ALWAYS! I was 135 in HIGH SCHOOL so I have never really been that small. But I don't know.. I am weighing myself 4 or 5 times a day, not eating for days and then eating and puking! I am embarrassed to say anything to my friends or family but now I don't really know what to do. I don't know how to just feel good about myself the way that I am. This all came out because I just realized that I had consumed a 50 count bottle of Metabolife's Extreme Energy Pills in just 4 days. I REALLY don't need any smart ellic answers.. I know I NEED help... unfortunately I can't afford it. But at the same time I dont know how to quit. I tell myself this is bad for me and then do it any way. I am a stay at home mom... if my kids ever did something like this I would hit the roof. And PLEASE don't tell me that I need to not think about myself and worry about my kids. I do love my babies and play with them and I feed them ... haha I get the most down at night.. and like now while they are taking their naps. Does anyone know of any good support websites? Or has anyone been through this before?

If it continues I would say see a doctor...but if the problem is weight; there are many ways to lose weight in healthy way, be energized, and feel good about yourself.

Go back to eatting, eat small meals (about 500 calories), but have about 6 meals a day. I know this sounds like alot of meals, but it really isn't. By eatting more meals you keep your metabolism up, and have energy throughout the day.

To lose some of the weight, I suggest going to the gym 3-4 times a week. On Mondays do cardio, something you'll like, so you'll stick to it, on Wednesday, do some light weights (no you won't get bulky), Friday do cardio again, and on one of the weekend days, do some light weights again. By building more lean muscle you will burn more energy while at rest.

Check out www.bodybuilding.com, the name is misleading, it's not all about bodybuilding, there's alot of yoga and fitness stuff too. They'll help tailor a program for you; no one will critize you, everyone is there for help in keeping fit.

Good luck

Well I must say first and foremost.. Do not compare this woman to your "ex"in any way, shape or form. I know that is easier said than done..:o).. As far as the weight issue goes.. You must determine if it a health issue, or is it a 'looks' issue with you. I agree men are very visual in all aspects of their like and relationships are no different. Is she dressing to accentuate the positives of her 'curvy' body or is she just wearing clothing that doesn't flatter her figure as much? This can be a huge thing even for you, as it is a visual aspect. Does she have the energy to go out and do the things you like now? If not, then that is a huge relationship concern altogether.. Is she comfortable with herself? Has she always had the weight? If so, then what attracted you to her to begin with, and why now has it become an issue (maybe a 'friend' said something??)?? You need to determine the 'why' then you can move into 'how' to deal, as each why will have a different 'how'..

You can get help, social workers can give you counsiling and they don't cost too much. You need to realize that starving yourself and purging are not the answers. Starving in fact messes up your weight, your body will go into starvation mode and when you do eat something you'll gain more weight than if you were eating noramlly. Purging is terrible for your health, and if you are worried about money think of all the bills you will have to pay to fix your teeth once your stomach acid damages them and your esophgus gets damaged. If you are 140 lbs at 5'5 your bmi is 23 and people who are considered overweight have a BMI of 25 -29. So you are not overweight or fat. If you're worried about gaining weight, eat healthy, fruits vegetables, drink a lot of water and get all your nutrients in.
