Well, that is actually a two fold question.

Was a freakin' apple worth it all? - Before the fact

Was a freakin' apple worth it all? - After the fact

After the fact it is pretty easy to tell, but before the fact it was a very human thing to do. I imagine that in your life you KNOW that you shouldn't have done X but did it anyway and regretted it to one degree or another.

And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 1st Timothy 2:14 KJV HOLY BIBLE

The deception was in the idea of being like gods. The devil is cunning and will fool many. Hath God said? That is the question he asked Eve and it is still what he says today. If he can confuse people with what God has said and who God is and what God wants a person will not be walking with the Lord.

The queston you have asked is an example of hath God said.

But look at the end results: apple pie, apple juice, apple turnovers, baked apples, apple sauce--- ohhh-- the list is endless!
I think it was a pretty good trade. What's a little sin and guilt in comparison to fresh juicy apples on a cold fall day???

Silly girl... Ever heard of a PARABLE????

Well when you're standing in temptaion you don't see the pther side of it.

Like I struggle with sexual desires, and I'm strong for a while, and then at my weakest moments, temptation will step in and I entangle with it. Then after the sex is over I'm worst off than what I was before. Then I'm ashamed to even go to God and repent. So I know and you know what Adam felt, I know every child of God has been tested with temptaion, because that's how you know you've been delivered form your weaknesses. When it comes your way and you don't even entertain it. That's how you know God has delivered you

But to answer your question, Is it worth it? NO MA'AM!!!!!!!!!!

Nobody has determined that it was truly an apple. The apple represents temptation and the placement of our desires over the expressed orders of the Creator. When we do that we set up ourselves as a god beside God and that is the original sin. Besides...Eve ate the forbidden fruit first...I submit however that most scholars say they both are guilty of rebellion....~~~~W

I enjoy my apples and do not fault the apple which may or may not have been the fruit eaten! This is a nutritious food. The fruit may not even exist anymore. You would need to ask Eve as well.

NOW YOU COME TO THE UNDERSTANDING,THAT IT WAS ADAM HAVING THE ADAMS APPLE GIVING IT TO EVE IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN.IF YOU ARE EVER THERE AGAIN AND GOD SAYS DO NOT EAT OF THAT TREE,IT LOOKS GOOD BUT IT IS EVIL,CUT THAT TREE DOWN AND MAKE A PICNIC TABLE OUT OF IT ,TO PLACE THE TWELVE FRUITS FROM THE TREE OF LIFE AS A OFFERING OF LOVE ONTO GOD AND YOU WILL NEVER DIE AND LIVE FOR EVER IN PARADISE AND DRINK FROM THE WATERS OF THE FOUNTAIN OF LIFE

Who said it was an apple? And Eve ate it first so leave Adam out of it.

An apple? No.

Now, had it been Woodchuck Hard Apple Cider, that might be a different story. That's good stuff.

I think I'd have to say yes. God works all things together for good, for those who love Him. Therefore, whatever God's plan for us was before, what came of it turned out to be even better.

Now for the weird part: God KNEW about both scenarios ahead of time. That's enough to burn out a circuit or two!
