I would say about 30 mins to an hour provided you don't throw it up...but it's not a very strong antiemetic...

For morning sickness, I hear that saltine crackers work very well...are you having a boy or girl? I am guessing a boy...am I right?

It should work w/i 30 mins if it is going to . I never had much luck with it. You may want to ask your doctor about zofran. It's a great anti-nausa med givin to people undergoing chemo. It also has no side effects like drowiness that promethazine has.The only bad this is that it is VERY expensive. But if you have insurance that shouldn't be a concern.

my spouse has taken it for our final 2 pregnancies. She's taken it for the duration of the 1st trimester the two circumstances after which stopped it. often takes it at nighttime with a pitcher of milk. desire this helps.
