I find wisdom in Every part of my life. It's just a question of removing my ego from the scenario.
It seems that I can choose WHAT wisdom I'm looking for. The "coincidence" of WHERE I find the wisdom is part OF the lesson.

I find it when I'm quiet and patient... it comes to me when I'm "ready" for it and when I'm seeking it "gently". It didn't come from where I expected it... Buddhism was never on my plate for study until I ran into it headlong while studying the Hindu pantheon with my usual analytical method of study and hoping for something that would teach me how to be more compassionate and patient (at the time, anger was my greatest downfall, against people who I perceived were "wrong" and "cruel" towards others). When I found it and read it I nearly choked in suprise at how REAL the Buddha's teachings really hit HOME and are LOGICAL. Just my view... *shrug*.

I literally seek wisdom, do you not know that wisdom is a spirit that God has given you. You have access to call to her adn she will come. I know this to be the truth, I've experienced wisdom first hand. You call onto wisdom just like you are praying to God, and ask understanding to come with wisdom. Read Proverbs 8

I look for wisdom among the wise, such as Kurt Vonnegut, Richard Dawkins, John Kenneth Galbraith, and David Attenborough. And I generally find it there.

I seek my wisdom from God and the Bible. Sometimes I do seek it from my Godly parents. I know they know more than I do. Sometimes I find it where I am not looking. I believe it is God showing me.

I seek it in the great works of history. In the people who have changed the world for the better, and in myself.

Wisdom is not chased down or pursued. It grows in your mind if given light and lots of fertilizer.
