Yes! Contrary to what others may have told you however, do not use pesto sauce as a base though...it has Parmesan cheese in it and that would likely be bad for your friend if she has a dairy allergy!
Here's a good recipe that I would recommend: Pizza Bianca
topped with only olive oil instead of your regular pizza toppings, simply sprinkle with fresh chopped garlic and basil leaves, maybe some oregano, add a little cooked chicken and voila! You could also try a taco pizza, substituting the base with a meaty taco flavored meat sauce, covered in lettuce, green peppers, jalapenos, black olives, etc.
If she could also try soy cheese if that is an option. It tastes very similar to regular cow's milk cheese when mixed with other pizza toppings.

You can cook a nice grilled veggies pizza without any cheese or tomato.

Just stirfry or grill mixed veggies with extra virgin olive oil, 6 tablespoons, wine and aromatic herbs and season with salt. Fry them so they are still a little bit juicy. Then put on the pizza base and bake pizza for about 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 220°C (425°F).

Assorted grilled veggies: Eggplant, carrots, onions, zucchini, summer squash, sweet roasted red peppers, nestled on a bed of spinach. A real vegetarian treat!

If you don´t want to do the vegetarian option just add some grilled chicken.

One of my favorite pizzas is the Armenian style one. Line the dough with olive oil, then mix onions meat and spices in a pan and cook like you would a sloppy joe.
Then top the pizza with the meat mixture.
The Armenian version is called Lahmahjoon.

Here is a link to a good recipe.

You can substitute the lamb for beef if desired.

You could make a pizza with olive oil soy cheese (if your friend is allergic to dairy) and toppings she'd like.

Sure. Use basil pesto instead of the tomato sauce and leave out the cheese. Top with whatever veggies & meats you like.

(I'm thinking pesto, mushrooms, thinly sliced onions and prosciutto... maybe some red pepper slices...)

If you use pesto - make sure it doesn't have any Parmesan cheese in it.

Try brushing the crust with olive oil, adding oregano & basil & a sprinkling of coarse salt.

Other toppings: roasted garlic, roasted red bell peppers, mushrooms, chicken, ham (proscuitto) , sauteed spinach, roasted eggplant, scallions, chives, shallots, red onion.

It wouldn't be pizza if it weren't for the ingredients that go into it. It would be dough with something else put on it.
