I would think that if you have had blood tests done before then your doctor should definitely have your blood type on file. I'm not sure that there is a way to find out your blood type without a blood test, but they might just need a fingerprick

a blood test is great but what was you doctor looking for in them? if they where the regular blood counts (red, white blood cells, iron, potassium...)then he most likely doesn't know your blood type, the lab needs to get a signed request for a blood type test. have you ever had a blood transfusion? donated blood or had surgery? if so then he should definitely know and will be able to tell you. you need to call and ask, if he doesn't know it then you'll need to ask for one (a blood type test that is, not a blood type...).

You can't tell your blood type without a test, unless BOTH of your parents have the same blood type, then YOU have the same type as theirs.
Your Dr knows your blood type if you've had tests taken.

Your doctor should know your blood type, if you've had a blood test, but if not you have to get one. Sorry.

Yeah..why not, but don't make it obvious by calling him; at your next appointment just say hey doc by the way what is my blood type

Your physician should be able to tell you what type you are.
