i try all the time to act nice to the ***** i have to call my sister. she is 2 yrs. younger than me, and she thinks she runs the show. when ever i ask her to do something nicely, she ignores me. she only listens to my older sis. i try so hard to be nice to her, but she just won't be nice back. when i tell my mom, she ignores me or tells me i'm to blame! what can i do?? HELP!!!

There's really nothing you can do. Stop asking her to do stuff for you. You need to police yourself and take care of #1 before you can worry about trying to control someone else. You just stay your same sweet self and move on. Let her think she runs the show. You may know better and it may come back to bite her in the tush. Also, you may want everything to go the way YOU want it to go and life just isn't like that. Maybe she has some good ideas about things too.

why do you feel the need to control her. she's just a young girl and would probably look up to you if you didn't have such an attitude towards her. haven't you ever heard the saying : "you can get more bees with honey than with vinegar?"
