if you are going to eat before, I would recomend a light meal replacement bar, such as a cliff bar. But eat it at least an hour before you work out. That way it will be good and into your system and will give you more stuff to burn off.

Definately eat after, mainly protein. After a work out protein helps build your muscle.

If your hungry then eat but dont eat a lot before you workout. Just something to put in your stomach like an energy/power bar. Or some yogurt and granola. And wait a little while after you work out to eat so you cool down, you dont want to get sick.

If you'e working out first thing in the morning, eat something like 20 or 30 minutes before you work out. You don't want to eat on an empty stomach. If you';re working out later in the day and have eaten, then wait until after when your metabolism is going faster and you can burn it off. protein protein protein!!

its best to eat food containing high amounts of carbohydrate. This gives you energy to do the workout. And afterwards its better to eat food with high amounts of protein because this strengthens the muscle fibre and helps makes now ones before they relax thus building up muscle. Things like creatine do not build up muscle they add to the water content in the muscle so steer clear!

Eat after....your metabolism is sky high for a couple of hours after you work out. It makes more energy, therefore causing you to lose that weight faster than if you eat before. Eating beforehand also causes stomach cramps.

You can do both. I would suggest a protein shake 30 minutes before you workout, and another one right after your workout.

I wait until after. If you eat before, there is the risk of getting sick to your stomach.

Before, but something light. That way your body has fuel to build muscle and other good things. After, have a sports drink to replace fluids and salts etc.
