No, actually by eating the skin you get the most vitamins and minerals and nutrients possible from your potato!

Potatos are just fine. Especially if you leave the skin on for that extra fiber. Yes they're carbs, but your body needs carbs. Especially if you lift weights and do cardio regularly. America has been brainwashed into thinking that carbs and starches are the enemy. They are an essential part of a healthy diet. Just don't eat too much and you'll be fine, and of course, don't eat them deep fried. You need to be worrying about getting your cardio and weight sessions done before you start worrying about potatos.

no there's nothing wrong with the skin just scrub the potato welll before u bake it. Also people eat fried potato skins as a snack.

I always was told that the skin had nutrients and vitamins, since then I have always cooked with the skin on' I've never been told that the skin was bad, heres a link that might help.
