I have been in your shoes so many times, it feels like Ive walked hundreds of miles.

Okay-first, you need to rant about all your feelings. Cry, eat, watch movies, look at past journal entries-we all need to be a little emotional now and then because it is important not to forget our pain because that is a big factor in what makes us who we are.

Second-Once this stage is over, write a cons list about this guy. Memorize and repeat this list in your head about 3 times a day.

Third-FUN PART!!! Makeover!!! Change one detail in your appearance-new hairstyle, maybe a new shirt-that deal.

Four-Write the pros list that kills the cons about this guy. This neutralizes the guy and makes you feel more like a stranger to him. This is a good forgive but dont really forget stage.

Five-Go out, be free, maybe find someone else! You will be fine. I did this all, and Im better. This is a slow healing process (even after the stages) but the burden will get lighter and lighter every day.

As teens and as adults we go thru stages in life. and sometimes our hearts get broken. but time will heal everything. i know that is an old line, but it is true. over time ur heart will learn how to heal itself, u will eventually let go of the past and begin to move on with ur daily lives. however if we do not want to let go and we want to stay stuck in a place forever, we are stopping our hearts from wanting to be healed. so u cant make the pain go away, but u can certainly try to heal it faster by staying positive and taking ur mind off the situation. unfortunatly this pain might take months and maybe even years. but with positive energy and ur friends nothing is ever impossible! good luck!

Yes time, but in the meantime nothing takes your mind off the broken heart like really really sore abs, chest, and legs.

Work out like you are training for the Olympics. You will fall asleep easier and get in good shape. Because of that, someone else will notice and take the ex's place.

The Wizard of Oz cured the Tin Man's heart. But he's not taking any more patients right now.

Everytime you find yourself dwelling on the thing that broke your heart, make an effort to do something friendly with someone else. You'll see that there's lots more people out there.

If someone did something cruel to you, have compassion on that person because they really hurt themselves more than they hurt you.

theres an old saying that says 'time heals all wounds' i found this to be sound advice..i personally that pain from a broken heart never completely goes away, but in due time it does lessen.comfort and support from friends helps too..my first love was at 13 and istill think about him,how he is etc..and im 36 now!!

Time heals all wounds though of course you could speed up the healing process by not dwelling on it too much. Go out and try to have some fun with friends, try to minimize things that remind you of the love lost, spend more time on your hobbies and interest, read a non-fiction book, continue to grow.

Get out and get active----working the body also helps sooth the mind-it doesn't heal it but it does help. If you are angry take boxing lessons--or get a Tai-Bo tape. They have all kinds of workout dvd's that you can get.
Just breath in and realize that it will take time.
God bless you.

We've all had times we wish there were a magic wand for this one - but as everyone is going to tell you there is nothing other than time that will make it feel better.

You just have to take it one day at a time. Get out and meet & new people, find a hobby. But most of all remember he is the *** who hurt you & isn't worth your time.

Time heals all wounds. Surround yourself with g/f's and keep yourself active. Eventually, the pain will get less and less.
