The wedding is in the summer and they need a cd of 'weddingy' songs BUT they dont want any bog standard cd of tunes they want a folky wolky beardy weirdy to play good ol' live music.

I do hope he wouldn't be too busy in his shed (shed B) and the thing is he would be doing it as a service to some fellow 'mad' people. there's a buffet!

forgot to add there will also be tea and coffee making facilities. Although I am unsure about any trouser presses.

Well - Glastonbury's on this year so he's probably a bit busy digging his tunnel under the fence.
Just a suggestion: Morris dancing. Seriously. I got married this summer and (unbeknownst to me and my husband) a friend got a group of our mates to learn how to dance with the wessex morris men for the wedding. Imagine our surprise when our wedding was crashed by a bunch of Morris men in full regalia! They were amazing and it was brilliant fun - even all the smart London types had a laugh.

How about finding a local tribute band, there has to be one somewhere!!! You could always look on the net, someone somewhere must do it. It will also be cheaper and easier than trying to find the real thing.

Alternatively, get yourself to HMV and look in the alternative music sections, there's bound to be something there.

he might if you show him what type of shed you have. he has a thing about sheds which you will know if you've watched one of his DVDs
