If he created the dinosaur then that was a few hundred million years ago right? So if adam and eve were created 6000 years ago that would make quite a few million years from the time god created animals until he created man. Were dinosaurs the first version of man that God created and when he realized they weren't good enough did he create Adam and eve. What happens when he decides we aren't good enough?

First he made the animals then the next day he made man. Then Adam named the animals and then women was made. Dinosaurs were made first. The earth isn't millions of years old.

Gen 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

The story of Adam and Eve is a Faith story, not a science one. Adam means "Men-kind"; Eve means "Women-kind." At some point along the evolutionary trial, the early cave people became what we call humans with a human soul. When the early cave people started to recognize a higher being and started to worship this being, religion began. This being could have been the sun or the god of rain or of the earth. We do not know. Eventually God spoke to Abraham and set the scene for the start of the Hebrew or Jewish religion from which Christianity would come.

"If he created the dinosaur then that was a few hundred million years ago right?"
Wrong. The old ages placed on dinosaurs are basically guesses made by evolutionists. Dating methods that go beyond thousands of years are often very wrong. There is no hard, undeniable evidence that dinosaurs existed millions of years ago. Dinosaurs were created along with the other animals on the 5th and 6th day of creation.

I should write this down because this is so frequently asked. wait a sec.

In the Book of Genesis scholars say there is proof of the earth actually being millions of years old.

(Genesis 1:1) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

(Genesis 1:2) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Verse 1 tells us the heavens and earth were created, In verse 2 the earth is in total devastation. Scholars say the time span between the two verses could be millions of years.

Well, there are two Genesis stories. In one, God created all the animals, then Adam and Eve. In the second, God created Adam, then created all the beasts of the field for Adam to name.

Either way, it's myth.

honestly though, it doesnt mean that eve has 2 dads... 1st of all there is only one man meaning there can't be 2 dads...if there is then there should be 2 men...but eve only was made by adam's ribs not by adam producing eve. the way god puts it is different. eve is not made of adam's feet to be stepped on nor was made from adam's head to be higher than adam. but eve was made below the arm for adam to hold and protect eve.

There is no evidence that dinosaurs were created a few hundred million years ago. That is all speculation based on the geologic column (which is theoretical) and the index fossil. There is no reason to believe that the earth is over 6200 years old. There is lots of suppositions based on many assumptions-but that is as good as it gets as far as geologic time is concerned.

could have been millions of years ago. who are we to limit god to our definition of time? could a day to god not be a million to man?

wouldnt that be easier to explain the dinosaurs? gave them enough time to be around and become extinct as god readies the earth for man.
