Try placing an advertisement in your local newspaper stating that you're looking for a ride to Florida... for free. Be prepared to get all kinds of suggestions though. Often people are looking for someone to drive their vehicle to Florida for them as they wish to fly and then have their own car waiting for them.
Good Luck, and walking is cheapest !!

Bus or train would likely be the cheapest hard to tell which since you haven't said where you are going to Florida from.

The smart*ss answer of walking is likely wrong because the extra time it would take. You then have to figure in meals and hotel stays etc...

Depending on where you are coming from and how many people you have going, flying may be the most economical way. I have flown from Pittsburgh, PA to Orlando, Fl for $118 round trip. That is cheaper and quicker than the train.

The cheapest may be to fly depending on when you want to go because it is difficult to get a cheap flight during school vacations.
