i have been having chronic pains in my right lumber and right abdomen my doc is hopeless and seems to have paniced. my water test showed i have the glandular fever bug in my system also jaundice, but the blood tests are clear. He did another exam today, cos i am still in pain when the painkillers wear off, and he found a lump the size of a plum where i am having the pain. he doesnt know what it is and is sending me for an urgent scan. does anyone know what it could be?

Yes Urinalysis and the pain is in front and back just below my ribcage

Certainly...we were not there...could be a hernia
appendicitis
overies
liver

Now if it was in the back...kidneys
back alignment

without a physical exam and seeing all the test results there is no way of making a diagnosis
water test? you mean Urinalysis?
