I took it and it didn't work for me. I had no side effects, I could've taken any anti inflammatory and it would've worked better.

I have been taking Naproxren 500 mgs for a couple years with no side effects that I am aware of. I had a knee replacement and I have arthritic knuckles. with Naproxen I have no pain at all. the 500 Mgs are prescription. You can get 250 over the counter in the form of Alieve.

Naproxen and naproxen sodium are marketed as Naprosyn and Aleve, respectively, and are analgesics for mild to moderate pain and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory meds. The common adverse effect is tinnitus. Some less common adverse effects are headache, palpitations, abdominal pain, nausea, rash and heartburn (there are many more). The one life-threatening adverse effect is hyperkalemia. If taken for the conditions for which they were designed, they are effective.

Naproxen is just Aleve. it works just as well as Tylenol or Motrin and has the same side effects. don't take on an empty stomach or with alcohol and you'll be fine.

I LOVE Naproxen (over the counter Advil or Alleve).

It works longer than Tylenol and Motrin, but not the 12 hours that they claim.

I've taken it a lot, but I haven't noticed any side effects. It's the only thing that helps my arthritis pain. If you take it too long, it can affect your stomach lining and you may have bleeding. Just follow your doctor's orders and you should be ok.

Yes its an anti-inflammatory. Some people its works very well for and others not at all. You have to be consistent with it and you wont feel the results for 2 weeks at least.
