They do have hearts. Every single human who has killed another has a heart that oxygenates red blood cells and pumps them around the body. Oh but wait, you're not asking this in biology - but then you're not asking it in ethics either.
What is it you're looking to hear? 'No they don't - they didnt let Jesus in to their lives' - what?

Here are some of the reasons that have been used throughout history:
1. You're occupying land that I want for my descendants.
2. I must kill you before you make up your mind to kill me.
3. You don't worship G-d in the same way that I do.
4. You don't believe in the same G-d that I do.
5. My friends got together and decided to kill you. I thought I should join them instead of possibly being on the receiving end.
6. You have a funny accent and I don't want my daughter marrying your son.
7. Our grandfathers had a disagreement about our property borders.
8. Your skin isn't quite the same color as mine.
9. I owe you money, and don't want to pay it back.

huh?
everyone has different reasons. social/psychological developmental problems for a start.
for those of you who know ed gein (the guy they based texas chainsaw massacre off of - he really only killed 2 people, or was known that he killed 2 people). however he did dig up graves and cut up people and make thigns out of them.
his mother was extremely religious, she wouldnt let him have friends and moved him out away from society. she wouldnt let him date and kept him home to do chores. too much religion isnt a good thing either.

Without God people have a harder life, this is not Gods intention. They become bitter and hard hearted also drugs and drink play a major role.

Amazingly, some people never develop empathy. Many others are able to overcome it for reasons ranging from selfish to religious.

every one has a heart but maybe that person did something to their family or friends so they want revenge but it is still not right in gods eyes!
