they have like small hooks that go around a tooth on each side. after awhile you get used to them and don't even know they are there...as far as the affordable dentistry. I have not yet tried it..but I need too..

Partial dentures have pontics or fake teeth, that are the same size and shape as your own teeth were, and are used to replace the ones you are actually missing. The teeth are set in acrylic made from models from the impressions made of the tissue, remaining teeth, and structure of your mouth. The part that aids in holding the partial in place is the metal clasps. These are two small, thin, metal half circles, shaped to fit the tooth in front of the one that's missing on both sides. They are set in the acrylic that lines the palate of the mouth. These clasps work as hooks and are very effective at holding the partial in place. Some movement is expected, and wearing a partial is something that takes some time getting used to. The feel of it in your mouth, your speech, and learning to eating with it, all take some time. Most patient do very well at adjusting to the use of a partial to replace their missing teeth. Although some don't, usually those patients are younger and options of implants or bridges are a better choice for them. Some say the fit depends on which dentist you use and others say it doesn't matter. Something to think about, either way, be it doctor or affordable denture, it requires a good impression. Most dentist send theirs to a lab to be processed, Affordable makes their own. Hope I've been of some help to you, good luck!

mother tells me several attempts to do that has failed so she has given up after thosands of dollars and aggrevation. that is all i can tell you. "afforable dentistry" isn't affordable if they do it over and over and still keep charging. which is what they do. let go and let god. accept some peace and contentment with whatever hand god deals you. it is all in how you react to the situation. you can refuse to accept what is and therefore choose to be miserable or --- you have good friends who love you for yourself with or without the pearlies you were born with. let go and let god.
