I've been feeling really down for a long time now

It could be "down in the dumps," or it could be actual depression. What are your symptoms? Do you have excessive crying spells? Do you sleep too much? or too little? Are you gaining or losing weight? Do you want to stay in bed?

Answer these questions and decide how the "downness" is affecting your life. If it is really affecting you, see a doctor for help.

You probably have a case of depression or maybe seasonal depression if you live in an area that goes through winter(dark, a lot of clouds etc.)

i can only think of a few things that may be making you sad.

money issues
relationship issues
physical ( how you think you look/feel) issues

my solution.. stop feeling srry for yourself and be thankful for what you have. youlll feel better

Volunteer some of your spare time it will make you feel better.
