They don't have a clue to the oppression that the blacks faced way back then. It's one thing to feel like maybe every body doesn't want you around and another to know you are FORBIDDEN to eat in this restaurant or drink from this fountain or enter through this door. They weren't allowed to attend the same schools or colleges and even when they did get degrees and prove themselves people still refused to allow them to work in places simply because they were black. Rosa Parks wasn't breaking the law on the school bus that day so Elvira is no way a modern day Rosa Parks. Some people back then considered them a less advanced part of our human race. I mean it was more less...Adam and Eve or we evolved from the great ape and well....becuase of size and strength and bone structure....who knew? They didn't think they could learn...weren't as smart. Sub-human. Now not all felt that way but many never saw black people before. Strange as that is to imagine now.....it wasn't always like this.

Now for these guys to come here and say this is insane. There have been Mexicans here and no one ever thought they were sub-human.

Even for some blacks to consider themselves still repressed because everything isn't given to them now to "make-up" for wrongs in the past is getting old. Equal oppertunity doesn't mean a guarentee. For anybody of any color. Equal oppertunity doesn't mean "special consideration". Equal oppertunity doesn't mean a person of color or a particular sex is guarenteed first dibs over other equally qualified people. Equal oppertunity doesn't mean "freebies" for "my" people while everybody else has to work for it. They've changed what the meaning is, to make it, if you don't give me what I want, if you don't agree with me, if you point out some obvious failings...you are "racist". Sorry but there are just some people who aren't very nice and color isn't the reason. "Opression" has come to mean to you aren't giving me a free and easy ride. Well...there's a whole lot of "opressed" white people out here then.....coz being "white" has no guarentees either.

They will say anything to try to prey on the sympathy and good nature of law-abiding people. They have no other argument and since they need to have an excuse for their illegal activities, they are trying to legitimize their being here by claiming they take jobs that American citizens don't want and that they are oppressed. None of their arguments hold water because they came here of their own free will. They weren't forced to come. Additionally, they were willing to break the law and risk their lives doing it just to come to the USA. They are not oppressed like the African American Community in the 50's. Their illegal entry and lawbreaking makes illegal aliens the oppressors and invaders. They are law breakers who are demanding to be rewarded for having the courage to thumb their noses at our laws and marching in our streets.

The African-Americans -- and they are no longer African Americans if they were born in the USA in the 50s were children, grandchildren and relatives whose ancestors were forcibly brought to the United STates and then forced to work in the United States. When they were freed from their slavery, there was still hard feelings from the war between the north and south.
There were southern and northern slave owners who treated their slaves better than employers treat employees today yet about all you hear is how badly the slaves were treated with no deliniation between those treated well and those who were not.

American Citizen landowners and landlords are oppressed by illegal alien lawbreakers who disobey the zoning laws and occupation laws by moving dozens into a single family home and then holding the landlord responsible when the house burns down due to their overloads and failure to keep up the house.

The illegals were not brought here to the USA by force and if they feel that they are unwelcome they have the RIGHT to go back home right now. AND if they don't go back home,, why then say all of that crap?? There is a big different between the status of the American Blacks and the status quo of the illegals in this country,,, big different.. How could they compare them self with an American citizens,, that is very stupid and unworthy..

The comparison is being used in the context of civil rights. Bottom line is they say deporting illegal aliens goes against their civil rights. The point of the matter is though, that they do not have civil rights in America because they are aliens, not citizens.

Because they know that our girlie boys in Washington will bow down and give them amnesty for breaking our laws, taking our jobs, illegally gaining access to our social welfare give aways, etc..... They know how the game is played. We continue to keep paying taxes so we can help people break the law in the name of "Just trying to make a living!"

Criminals trying to compare their acts with honorable people and memorable historical events...really smart, huh? These are the same morons who I have seen compare their "plight" with the holocaust. We aren't talking about people who are known for their intelligence here. Nothing they say or do surprises me.

I bet the African Americans back then would LOVE to be oppressed the way the illegals are now. All that free food, housing, medical, and fine educations in their native languages. Also they get jobs that citizens can't get. Not to mention nearly guaranteed home loans at rates lower than what citizens pay. Nobody tells them where they can or can't live or sit. Oh the oppression is mind boggling! What should disgust African Americans more is that as illegals, they are treated better than their people were as citizens. Where can we apply for this type of oppression?

If you really want to understand, the idea comes from them not wanting to be considered illegal. They want rights and the only group that they can think of who fought for theirs and wasn't white were the blacks. They want to divide us racially to profit from the chaos and prove that racism is all that motivates us. In this way they can say that they deserve rights because we denied them based on racism. They don't even understand our history, and yet they try to use it to their advantage.

Well, many illegal supporters/groups tell them what to say. The illegals should be protesting back in their homeland at the treatment they receive by their own government.
