In Japan, they have ice cream with flavors like corn, wasabi, fish, and squid. Not kidding!

I wouldn't eat this stuff as a Survivor challenge.

I love ginger ice cream! Now I'm hungry again! :-)

*sigh* And I see some of the PC Police are out, too.

just reading the flavurs you have mentioned has made me feel even more sick than i am already feeling. that sounds totally gross, and i would neve eat any of them. the weirdest ice cream i had was custard flavour. althought it was really nice. and its not too weird.

but SQUID? urgh no. would never. could never... but... if a cheue for £20Million had my name on it i suppose i could try a spoon or two of it.

I'd try it if given the chance, like if I was traveling in Japan. It's always interesting to try local specialties! However, I'm not so excited about those flavors that I would go on the internet and try to buy some on-line. At a Japanese restaurant I've been to a few times they have ginger ice cream, which is actually very good.

i might want to attempt it if given the chance, like if i became travelling in Japan. that is continuously interesting to attempt community specialties! although, i'm no longer so enthusiastic about those flavors that i might want to bypass on the internet and attempt to purchase some on line. At a jap eating position i have been to three cases they have ginger ice cream, it truly is easily staggering.

There is an ice cream shop here in Salt Lake called Cold Stone, they had wasabi ice cream for a while. It was okay, if you mixed it with the ginger flavor they were also offering. In Gilroy, California they have a garlic festival every year and they've served garlic ice cream.

I've had green tea ice cream before, but not squid. I don't even like to eat squid in the first place, let alone in ice cream. But the wasabi sounds kinda interesting. Or the corn. I might eat them.

I ate eggnog from Baskin-Robbins before and if you watch the food network people make some crazy stuff. On Iron Chef America, some dudes made lobster ice cream. The taste testers actually responded positively to it too. There was like some weird other food too. Urm, turkey cotton candy? Something weird with cotton candy.

I wouldn't eat the ones you mention, but I have had tomato ice cream in an Italian ice cream place. It was pretty good, if a little wierd.
