Go to a naturopathic doctor or the local health food store and inquire to the herbalist. You may have some other issues going on that are preventing you from losing weight. Regular MD doctors don't have as much training in nutrition as other alternative doctors have.

Well one thing that could be wrong with you is that you have a thyroid problem. You're thyroid is tied to you're metabolism and if it's not working properly it could be hindering your weight loss. Go talk to you're dactor and ask him to check you're thyroid.

The most probable reason you're not losing wieght though is that you're probably not excersizing enough. It's been proven that just cutting calories alone doesn't help you lose weight. Excersize is the biggest part of any diet and what helsp you see results. I would suggest jogging or running (walking doesn't really do much to get you're heart pumping and your metabolism started) at least 30 minutes 3 days a week. Also, do weight training because as you build muscle your muscles burn off the fat.

Losing wieght is not an easy process, it takes a lot of work. I would say just up your excersize and you should lose plenty of weight. Also, drink 3- 5 glases of water a day to clean out your system and make sure you're not skipping meals.

How many calories do you take in a day? Keep it around 1500-1800. Excersize 4 times a week. Work out a few times with high reps and lower weight. With that, you should see a loss anywhere from 4-9 weeks. It all depends on the body. Plus, if you are working out, you will be building muscle, which weighs more than fat. But muscle cuts down fat in the longer run. So stick with it. Try to do what I said and you will be solid. Oh and no crap food like cookies. Try to have 4-5 small meals a day too. No Pop.

If your diet is still relatively high in calories, even after cutting back on that, then that could explain it. If you're trying to lose weight, try and eat around 1200 calories a day. Also, walking every now and again is not enough exercise. You need to get your heart rate elevated continuously for at least 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week to lose weight.

Hey! If you are really overweight then there is something definately not right with this scenario. If not ... you know just those 10 -15 pds most of us are trying to shed) then you have to give your body plenty of time. You should only lose 1-2 pds a week and if you have just started working out or walking you could be gaining 1 -2 pds a week of muscle... obviously both canceling each other out. Find the tightest pair of jeans you had before and try them on.... fitting any different? Same with a shirt? Scales really aren't accurate when you are already fairly in shape but just trying to tone up..

1. Make sure you're eating enough calories- although it may seem counter-intuitive, crash dieting can hurt your metabolism causing your body to hang on to every calorie. Look online for recommendations on how much to eat. However, stay off the fast food and soda and focus on properly nourishing your body with healthy foods.

2. It could be that you're losing fat but not weight- weight fluctuates constantly, often due to how hydrated we are but also if you've been working out like you say, you could be gaining muscle as you lose fat. Focus on your measurements and more importantly how you feel rather than the number on the scale.

Good luck!
