If your a zero carbon home then I would think your doing enough to be "Tree friendly". You need to find your tree budget (i.e. the number of trees it takes to make your life comfy)

if you mean a zero energy home than you are taking about a 'passive solar home' with sustainable technology, then could you ever begin to become zero carbon.
