My fiance is deploying to Iraq in March, and I would love any sentimental gift idea's, so I can make this Valentine's Day as special as possible for him.

Twin teddy bears. One for you and one for him. When he brings it back they can be together again.

Great memories of you spending time together, tons of pictures (go to Glamor Shots or something like that if you want them to be special made), the teddy bear idea isn't as dumb as it might sound (my husband's good luck charm is a small bear I sent him during his first deployment; that bear, aka Combat Stich, has more time in combat that most of the guys he's there with this time), any other special interest items he might enjoy based on his hobbies, etc. And of course there's no better gift than your unconditional love and support. He needs that more than anything else, so make sure he knows he has that each and every day.

Matching tattoos.. ha. May be crazy but I believe as long as the tattoo can not be seen with uniform on they can have it and that way you both have that thing together to remind you of eachother while away and it will always be with the both of you.

A pillow case with a picture of both of you on it. You can get this in any T-shirt printing shop

Good luck

Just spend as much valuable time together that is the best thing to do.

cute pics of yourself, wallet size.

also, stick little notes throughout his bags.
when my husband deploys, i write little notes to him and fold them inside shirts, pants pockets, in his toiletry bag.
inside dvds, video games, magazines and books.

that way he will come across them at random times and it'll make him smile!

take care.
