Oh my god - Lab rescues are full to OVERFLOWING with Labs that need homes. For gods' sake, don't ADD to the problem.

Get your dog SPAYED. Thousands of labs are killed every year already because there aren't enough homes.

Do you mean breed her-breeded is not a word. I think that in all honesty you do not need to "breeded" her. You dont breed dogs unless you know what you are doing. Will the pups better the breed by strict adherence to the breed guidelines. Does your dog compete in shows or field trials (since it is a hunting breed)? Is your dog at least 2 years old? Do you have money for the huge vet bills you will see and the extra food costs? Do you have a contract for potential buyers and a way to research them so the pups get a good home?

I think it is best if you focus on your adult dog (who was once your cute puppy I am guessing) and not on getting more pups that you will not take proper care of. Dogs are expensive, they take time, and they take a lot of work. Puppies (not puppys) grow up to be dogs-that is how it works. If all you want is to have a pup and then move on once they grow up, perhaps you should grow up a bit yourself. The world is full of unwanted, mistreated animals because of this "I want a puppy" mindset, so just take care of the dog you have and get her fixed.

I'm sure lots of people have male labs in Austin!

Don't have puppies just to have puppies - There are already 1000's of unwanted labs in shelters waiting for homes. Do the right thing and spay her. Don't add to the Backyard breeding population!

Look in your local classifieds like all other backyard breeders do. BTW from your question it sounds like you want to breeded your sister so you can have puppies. SPAY YOUR DOG!!!!!
