Taxes are totally seperate from your credit report. If you DON'T pay your taxes....that can wind up on there, though.

I don't think your credit report even contains your actual wage data.....just what your habits are with paying for things and how much money you are borrowing, etc.

If you are paying your taxes, I am not aware that it every goes onto your credit report. However, if you owe money to the IRS and you don't pay, the judgement against you will appear on your credit report.

Doing your taxes has ZERO bearing on your credit report.

IF, however, you have old tax liabilities that you aren't making payments on, and you get a tax lien put against you, that would show up on your credit. But that typically takes a long time to happen, and you have many options to make payments before it ever gets to a lien status.

That doesn't affect your credit line at all! Who told you that??? All you can do with the refund is take it and pay off your debt. That's what affects your credit.
