please don't get a crew cut! :-( I hate seeing guys who have perfectly nice hair just going in and cutting it all off. Everyone looks better with natural length hair.

Usually it's a one guard or no guard on the sides and back. For the top they usually use this comb thing w/ a level. Unless you go to one of those old time barbers, then they can usually free hand the top w/ their eyes closed.

# 1 on the back and sides ......depending on your hair maybe go up to a #2 on the top....depends on your taste..........and whether you really want a CREW cut or a buzz or even a flat top.........I use a #1 all over the head for a buzz !!!!!!!!!
