Can I make the "Hershey's no bake cookie" recipie without the oats?

I suppose so Its just the hot chocolate mixture with oats stirred in. Rice krispies, cornflakes, coconut should work.
My only question is the moisture level in the chocolate mixture may soften the cereal. You may want to experiment.

No---that won't work well. You'll just have chocolate melted on a plate

I suppose so, but there would be nothing to hold it together. It'd just be mush.
