My personal opinion is that it is a bigger deal for girls who are sexually active because girls have a lot more riding on this. They have a lot more problems to face than the guys. The number one reason is pregnancy. A guy can get a girl pregnant and just walk away and deny the baby is his. His body doesn't change over 9 months, and he doesn't have to go through painful labor.

It is a double-standard to be sure, but society has made it a common belief that males are more sexually driven than females. It's slowly changing, but for the most part, especially for younger girls, the mind-set stays the same.

You have to make a decision. Are you going to be open about your sexual activities with the people you trust? Or will you keep them secret? Sex is nothing of which one should be ashamed, and don't let anyone tell you different. Just always remember to be responsible. If possible, get on birth control and always use condoms. Pull out before orgasm does NOT work. If you're old enough to be having sex, you should be old enough to handle whatever consequences may come your way, including pregnancy and STD's as well as moral stigmas.

Silly girl. Haven't you learned by now that boys think the more sex they get, they are more popular. You just added yourself to their "easy" list. They tell their friends in order to keep score. This has never been a secret to females. You look like a s l u t. A guy who really likes their girlfriend doesn't tell his friends. If your guy is telling his friends about what the two of you did, he doesn't think much of you. You need to get some self respect and realize that you have something special and you shouldn't give it to just anyone. Thank you.

first of all, in a mature relationship guys will keep their sex life with you private. But you're right when you say it's a guy thing, they are more open to certain things with their friends then girls are. How long have you been going out? Either your friend is a little jealous of you and your b/f or she sees something that you don't... do you trust your guy to keep the hook up between just him and his friends, or will this get around school fast? guy's like the attention and want people to know when they get something... but for girls its more personal. guys who get what they want quickly will consider you as easy and move on. girls and guys have sex and foreplay for very different reasons, guys like how it feels physically wear as girls prefer the emotional feelings.

your best friend is probably just worried about you but you should explain to her that you're not at all being pressured so she doesn't have to be concerned. it may just be that she would feel uncomfortable doing that if she were in your situation also. tell her you'd like her there for support though. guys use sex to achieve rank amoung themselves and its something that every guy wants. girls on the other hand tend not to think about it as much thus tend to want it less making it kind of a big deal between them.

If the guy is treating you right and is letting you know how he feels about you, you shouldn't feel bad. Besides, it should be making love not having sex and it should be something that is just between you and your BF. Maybe spare your friends the details. It might remind her how she isn't getting any action. ( sorry, sounded like a guy there.)

Its been like this for EVER. Guys get called pimps while girls get called H O's. Its stupid, and sexist. Its been that way for a while. I think girls have a tendency to over think things too, especially when they are younger. Good luck

Because guys are looking to fill their beltloops with notches and girls aren't. He's just a boy, not a man or he wouldn't have revealed such a intimate detail about his girlfriend. What a jerk!

Tell you boyfriend to get a life - he shouldnt tell anyone. If he says to anyone else deny it and he will look stupid for making it up. Dont do anything else with him unless you want the whole world knowing about it.
