No, I don't think it's odd at all; everyone's taste in music is unique. Just because someone is "older" doesn't mean they can't listen to what's considered by some to be "younger" music.

I'm in my 40's and still love listening to Metallica, Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin. I like listening to some of my sons' music heavy metal and hip-hop CD's too and they don't mind a bit. :)

No... That would make her just the right age to have been a teen rocker chick when the band first came out. Just because people become parents don't mean they start listening to Frank Sinatra and Don Ho. They weren't part of our generation, but Megadeath? Definitely!

I'm 48 and still rock'n...and plan to be the rest of my life! Be glad! (MY parents listened to country music and easy listening..!!)
