You need to see a doctor. From personal expeirience however, I would speculate that you could have either a virus, strep throat, or Mono, (commonly known as the kissing diesease). If you do have mono or strep, you'll probably get or have a temperature, and if you are lethargic (extremely tired) too, you most certainly have mono. BUT SEE A DOCTOR.

Could be, or it could be worse. If the intesne pain lasts for more than a day or two, you should see a doctor. It could be strep throat or something similar that will not go away until it is treated.

Sounds like strep throat--go to the Dr now! You can get a shot that will make the pain stop pretty quick and you need medicine to get rid of the strep. It is also very contagious.
