So Equifax has some dirt on you the other two don't?

Most mortgage companies will pull and review all 3. It's likely some store credit cards would only scan one of the bureaus, but I can't imagine anyone divulging in advance which system they use.

Quit worrying about this stuff and just work on clearing or disputing the bad info on Equifax. Paid collections can be removed fairly easily, for example.

About 98% of all lenders will order a tri-merge credit report which includes all three credit bureaus report, and base your loan on the middle credit score. There are a very few lenders that will use only one but usually they are sub-prime lenders and do not offer the most competitive rates.
