in the autos section in yahoo, you can get the bluebook value for free, just fill out the info of your car.

you should also check out cars of the same make and model at http://www.autotrader.com ,so you can get an idea of what they go for, they are the best place to search for used cars and sell them.

id also check in the local papers, and used auto add magazines.

No point. Guides are guides. It is worth what you can sell it for. Guides will not mention things like scratches, dents, missing service stamps, bald tyres, chips on windscreen, stonechips, carpet stains, interior marks, etc etc. People look at a guide, and always think their car is absolutely immaculate, when in reality, it wont be.

Dumb yanks, kelly blue book doesn't exist in uk.

Glass's is the only valuation worth a damn in UK.
