beg your parents some more... Just remember, after begging 100 times, and you feel like they will never say yes, and you feel like giving up----> DONT! that is the time they will give you money just to shut you up, if you just ask one more time.

Once I took wax paper (any paper would work though) and wrapped up the hamburger my mother had bought from the store. I wrote $5.00 on it. I told her she would need to buy it from me before she could use it (even though she already paid for it once at the store.) She must have noted how desperate I was, and guess what? She gave me $7.00!!!

So, inject a little humor into it... It makes trying fun, and when you didnt make the dough, it was still fun.

Or use the freeby ads in the local newspaper--if your paper has this. Everything you want to sell is free if it is 100 dollars or less. Sell usual stuff that you own, or sell something peculiar--Sell rocks, wow! $1.00 a stone! be inventive. It works on ebay.

(seriously, ebayers will buy the DUMBEST stuff that sellers list. I dont know why, but maybe they think they are unique for buying. Heck, sell a burp in a jar! Once someone wrote "totally worthless" or something like that on a piece of paper on ebay, and it sold!!! I also heard of one kid selling sage brush (like the ones in western movies) on ebay. People all over the world were buying. So the kid had to go out and keep on finding the dried out bushes that were rolling around. So who knows, maybe someone in europe would buy some of the dirt from your front yard!).

P.S. just dont tell my kids the info I just gave you... please
