Toyota may only get 1 win this year in the second half of the season. Now, If I am wrong then Ford, Dodge,Chevy better hold on to their hats. You all know Toyota goal is to out sell GM. Toyota weakess market is in the south. If they start winning this may help their sales in the long run

I don't think Toyoto will get any wins in the NEXTELL Cup.

However, I do feel that Toyota might get 1 or 2 lucky wins in the NEXTEL cup this year...

lol...sorry. I am in a feisty mood today.

I believe that if they get a win, it will be by sheer luck and one heck of a crash that takes out the other top contenders.
But to even get close, they need to qualify and I really don't expect them to do very well in that aspect. I will admit though that I would like to see Mikey W. or Dale Jarett get a win, just to shut people up.

Probably 5-6, they have a few veterans and some good drivers racing for them this year. Toyota in testing wasn't that bad especially with the Camry Nascar their coming out with. I still think Chevy will have overall wins this season.
Drivers:
Brian Vickers 1 win
Jeremy Mayfield 2 wins
Michael Waltrip 1 win?
Dave Blaney, Dale J., 2?

The biggest win for Toyota will be to quailify on time.
Dale Jarrett and Dave Blaney are guarinted starting spots as past champion and top 35 in points.
So the first win will be to qualify.

I say 1 or 2 with Jarrett and Waltrip being most likely to win. Okay possibly a 3rd if you allow for a spin out by Vickers for the win. His two wins, 1 points and 1 non-points were that way. Sorry any Vickers fans, but until he proves me otherwise............

I predict 0. Toyota simply doesn't have the drivers to win. It will take them a few years to be competitive.

None.. all the Toyota driver's didn't have a great season in Chevy or Ford..so you figure they are going to brand new teams with brand new cars.. uhmm I don't see them magically pulling out wins.

It's going to be interesting to watch the Toyota's on the super-speedways; I think they'll have the engines and the areo-packages to compete. They're going to get beat up on the short tracks and I don't think they have the drivers to win on the road coarses.

Predicted '07 wins = Zero. (they'll be fun to watch though).

This question has already been asked... I like Mikey, but it will take them a year or two, to get all the bugs worked out of their cars, and then they can be consistant...

They do need a few younger drivers though... Mikey, DJ, and David are not going to get it done for very long...
