I hurt myself at work and my boss will probably fire me when I get back. Should I buy a six pack of tall boys tonight?

I live in Canada, and drink only good,5 % Canadian beer.

I have all the rest of this week ot find a job anyway, and I doubt my boss has the balls to fire me. I just need an excuse to drink beer tonight, because my woman might get mad.

Sounds like you have nothing to lose. Why not?

Here in Britain, most men go out at night and have 6 to 12 pints of beer a night. And those are 20 ounce pints, and the beer is between 5 and 9% alcohol.

So go ahead and enjoy your 4% beers. Not a problem if you are hard enough!

Getting hurt at work is normally a Workmans Compensation claim. You do not get fired over a work injury.
As far as drinkng beer on a Tuesday.........As long as your over the legal age (you must be since your working) its fine. Drinking to excess that might cause you to miss work is a problem.

Your question is misleading and confusing. Perhaps you drank a six pack for BREAKFAST and were wasted at work.

I work in a bar, so I see people drinking on every night of the week. I don't think it's weird.

Its not weird at all. What else do you have to do? Besides there is a difference between enjoying a few beers (good) and intentionally getting yourself drunk (bad).

It's weird to drink alone.

Buy more than that. After you get fired, you'll need some more. Or if you still have a job, have a couple that night!

no, because drinking is not the answer to your problems. Drinking will only mask the problems then you will have to deal with reality when the alcohol wears off.
