It sounds like you have symptoms of obsessive compulsive disorder (with the shower example). The first example sounds like trouble interpreting social situations, which could be Asperger's Syndrome, a very mild form of Autism. It is important to know that these two diagnoses often go hand-in-hand.
Please see your doctor, and explain what you are experiencing. Your doctor will be able to refer you to an appropriate mental health professional. These things you are experiencing can be helped and treated. Please see a doctor ASAP.

No, it sounds like you have Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder or some variation of it. I would go to your primary care doctor and tell him about it, see what he says. There is alot to do to help this sort of problem. You can do a yahoo search on it and you will find alot of info on the net. Good Luck & you are NOT alone!

Well it sounds like you have ocd and maybe some kind of anxiety disorder. I have social anxiety disorder and I think the same way about people laughing about me. You are not crazy or anything, they are treatable. You should see your doctor and they can recommend somebody for you to see like a therapist.

No you are not mad. You need to stop thinking this way or you will think yourself into paranoia.
If you can, try to think about what you are afraid of and the worst thing that can happen.
Let's consider that death is the worst thing that can happen.
Your friends are not going to kill you are they?
Then put all these thoughts of yours into perspective.
