I have to deliver a Personal Introductory Speech tommorow. My question is... how do I successfully write a 1 - 2 minute speech? It must contain all of these things...

1. Speaker's name, hometown, and major

2. Speaker's interests: examples- family, collections, pets, sports, travels, etc.

3. Speaker's plans for 10 years from now

4. Speaker's plans if he or she received $10 million

1. You know the information to this one.
2. Think about your interests. If you can inject humor into your speech it will help.
3. Think about what you want to do. If you don't know, make something up.
4. Think about what you'd do if you started a company, and it took off.

Time your speech. Practice it in front of a mirror 3 times. Take index cards with bullet points on them to look at while you speak. This will be a reminder, and keep your speech in order.

do just that...introduce yourslef...name, hometown and major and then talk about ANY interests you have...(like what you said:pets, sports, etc)...then imagine what you would like to do in 10 years and then make something up about getting ten million big ones! that should EASY be 1-2 minutes with no problem.
