i've only been in for 7-8 months and have got a disability and may be honorably discharged would i get va benefits and what would i get

This depends on the rating they give you. You'll be getting a monthly check for your lifetime; the size depends on the rating they give you.

You won't know your rating until after you get discharged and you see a VA doctor. They mail your rating to you, along with a check for the "back pay". You may also be eligible to go to school for free depending on your rating and disability. You also get preferential treatment when applying for government jobs.

If you are discharged under honorable conditions you get full VA benefits. If you are medically discharged then the VA will evaluate your disability and provide additional compensation based on the severity of your disability.

Medical...not the GI Bill....you have to do most of your first enlistment and finish paying into it...maybe Vocational Rehab, but you have to apply for that...hope this helps...

definitely won't get your GI bill, you have to complete your WHOLE 1st enlistment to get it and then get an honorable D/C, as a general won't cut it. but everything else you'll get
