I bought mine 11-15-06 and on New Year's Eve the LCD screen cracked. I didn't drop it or anything. Of course, that is NOT covered by the warranty so I'm screwed out of $170! A total loss.

Nov 1'06 bought Sony CyberShot DSC-H2. No problems yet. 2 questions I might have, was it used in extremely cold weather? Just guessing.....Did you loan it for say 15min to anybody?

Well, I have two friends with Sony camera's and their seem to be pretty good for just point and shoot cameras. One of them broke their camera the first week and since they bought inssurance, it as covered and they gave him a new one. Besides, I'm going to buy a camera thats around $250 - $300 so, $170 is nothing compared to loosing a $300 dollar camera. Next time buy inssurance if they offer it.
