I am planning our high school's annual Senior Citizen Prom. I am lost when it comes to finding activities our elders will enjoy. I can use any help I can get. The theme is "Love is in the Air" but the activities do not have to follow the theme...

well you should probably have music and have a Prom Court, you should see if they have Prom pictures from they went to the prom many years ago and play a game to see if they can figure out who's who, and you can have a photo booth.

Just a few suggestions...Sounds like fun...what a great idea, very thoughtful too.

The best answer is to ask the seniors. However, as a social worker for many many years, I have noticed that when I plan parties for seniors, they enjoy being in an environment where they hear music from their era, card games, and good food (ie foods that are not high in carbs or sodium!). But, mainly talk with a couple of them and find out what they would like.

You could have a couple of small Bingo tables, plus maybe some roulette wheels. I know around here there are places you can rent them. Also , how about getting to know some local seniors and talking them into manning a kissing booth.
