The record number of kittens born in one litter is to a Persian named Bluebell -- she had 14 that were born alive in 1974. However this wasn't her first litter.
A number of factors depend on the size of a Queen's first litter -- her age, length of time in heat, availability of Toms in the area, etc. Most likely if she is under two-years-old, in good health and in a urban / suburban setting she will have one-to-three offspring.
Good like with the new additions -- hope all goes well. --Andy

mostly it all depends on the cats reproductive system. Most first time mommies on average have 2-5. Sometimes they can have up to 10 (like my mothers cat). It all depends.
