Unfortunately, no. It's easier to love someone if you liked him in the beginning, but there are millions of things that make people love each other. I think that maturity is one of them: being able to realise how much this person means to you and what you will be prepared to give up for the sake of your relationship. It also means being respective of the other person's needs and being supportive.

Your question is vastly incomplete. There are a number of other factors to take into consideration such as compatibility, future plans, and the depth of commitment that you both have. Also keep in mind that there is a huge difference between passion and love. Love is lasting where as passion burns itself out in a matter of months. But the chances are good that two people who like each other will eventually love each other.

Not always, it's more likely to happen in this situation, but it wont always develop into love. There are so many factors that could alter those feelings and create different situations.

With a divorce rate somewhere in the 50%+ range, I'd have to say that isn't how things always end up.
