What did he do that was so worthy of so much animosity...doesn't matter if you don't believe. It seems more people have empathy for Hitler here than Jesus, which is very disturbing. What did the J man do to you? Really? This is coming from a non-Christian.

Jett...no need to try and find a stupid slant or innuendo. I mean just what I asked and nothing more. Sorry such things must be assumed.

Paul S...That lame little wanna-be intellectual diversion/spin is getting really old. You can hate a age old ideal, you can hate an outdated style of clothing, you can hate a long passed ruler for his acts against humanity, and people certain speak of much hatred for Jesus although none of us walked in his time. Try again with a dummy. I can see clear through you, you are only using that tricknology on other idiots, dear friend.

Jesus told us He was hated first. And we should believe Him because He spoke the truth. This "forum" is mainly driven by unbelieving hacks who can't stand to have the truth spoken to them. Jesus loved everyone. Including Judas (who betrayed him with a kiss) and even every Satanist who ever lived. He was pure of heart and had no sin.
He was more than just a good man. To go to the cross and die the way that he did, believing what he believed would have made him a crazy man.
He was more than just a prophet. Even though the Holy Spirit dwelled in Him and all 9 gifts were in operation in Him, including prophecy. He would have to be more than that to fulfill more than 300 biblical prophecies written before he was born. How can a man choose where he will be born and how he will be born? Let alone who his parents would be?
He is the Son of God. Which God proved by His resurrection. If His body were still here after 2000 years, somebody would have found it by now. Especially since so many people hate Him and all that He stands for. Can He catch a break? Not till He returns to set up His kingdom here on Earth. Then all of the nay sayers will stand up and take notice that Jesus Christ has returned!

I don't believe people hate the Lord Jesus. I believe that people hate what followers of Christ do. Just because someone who is Christian does something bad or wrong doesn't mean that the Lord Jesus had anything to do with it.
I strongly, believe that it's not The Lord that's hated but it's those of us who claim to follow him that's hated.
I believe many want to believe in the goodness of Jesus Christ but it's human beings who are keeping them from seeing the redemptive work of Christ on the cross.

They are condeming him according to the actions of his followers.
However, our scripture does warn us that the world will hate our saviour and his followers. So, as a christian, it does not suprise me.
Why I am here posting on this site? Just trying to share the truth. Whether it is correcting an errant idea or an errant believer.
A lot times I try to clear up misunderstanding on both sides. God, Jesus, and the bible is unfortunately misunderstood by both believers and non-believers.
A lot of times, people simply want to do what they do and not be told they aren't doing it right.
Some were hurt by christians or by the church in general.
Sometimes my brothers and sisters in christ come up with a load of crap and try to push it as truth. People of the world are not stupid, if they smell crap they'll call you on it...
There are many reasons. The biggest reason Jesus gave us, it is because he shows the world the errors of its ways.
Who likes being corrected!?

For what ever reason people hate any kind of good and the only time they have any feelings is when there hearts were broken.
People check this out go www.youtube.com then in the search box type in mark of the beast 666 click on the 3rd box Prince Charles and what they say about the coat of arms. Interesting you be he judge. There's also one section in there some where that talk about the attempted assassination of the Pope.
There also a video of some one talking about a group were playing cards 2 guys were left one said I'm God the other said I'm satan (notice I never used a capital in satan) When the one said I'm God flip over all his cards 3 of them were Queens'. The other one who said I'm satan when he flip over his cards three of them were 666 coincidence you be the judge.

Jesus told us in His Word that this would happen, so I guess we shouldn't be surprised:
John 15:18 "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you."
Jesus tells us in John 15:17 "This I command you, that you love one another."
People hate Jesus because He is the light of the world and light exposes what is in the darkness.
Thanks for standing up for Him. He shed His precious blood on the cross to pay the price for our sins. So Micheele- if you are interested in getting to know Jesus better, read and study your bible. Ask questions, check answers against the Word of God.
feel free to email me if you have other questions

Could you please post references for this? I see questions like this all the time, yet I don't see a single "I hate Jesus" being posted in any question/answer.
Until someone can point out specifics, like a specific person said "I hate Jesus" (and it wasn't an answer to one of these stupid troll questions), I will continue to believe it doesn't happen. I see a lot of people that hate Christianity...... I see a lot of people that hate what certain Christians do. I've even seen them go so far as to say they Hate Christians. But I haven't seen on that has said they hated Jesus.
Pagan. And I don't hate Jesus. I do hate it when someone says "Oh you must hate Jesus cause you don't like MY religion (in regards to Christianity)." Which is one of the most childish games that is played in this forum. That's like me saying, "I hate rock music" and someone saying "Oh, then you must HATE all of those people who play rock music"..... rather stupid don't you think?

Because people don't want to admit that Jesus really was right or else they'd have to face their own immorality. It's much easier to ignore Him or slam Him than really consider His teaching. It's makes them uncomfortable. Jesus also said that He would be persecuted along with those who believe in Him.

Are you confusing "accepting the fact that Jesus has been dead for 2000 years" with "hating Jesus"?
I suspect you are. I don't remember seeing anyone at all here who hates Jesus.

I have yet to see ANYONE have a go at Jesus, the god of the OT yes, a bloodthirsty tyrant, the worst I've seen directed at Jesus is that he was not the son of god which is a valid opinion.

I don't think anyone here "hates" Jesus. You can't hate something if you don't believe in it.
What some people hate are the Christians who are operating on the assumption that they "know" Jesus was/is real, which they do not. It's fun to mess with them sometimes.
