Well I think that Advil works the best. You might want to get some anbesol from the store and rub it on your wisdom tooth but that is a temporary fix. What's best is for you to go to the dentist and get your wisdom teeth pulled. The pains going to keep coming and going until you do it. It may end up pushing your other teeth together if you don't have enough room in your mouth too so the best thing is to get it pulled. You might also have an infection so the dentist will prescribe some antibiotics first before being able to pull it. My husband had the same issue and that's what he had to do. The pains would come and go but now that he had them pulled, he has no issues at all. Good luck!

You can take a pain reliever like Tylenol or ipbrufen to relieve the pain temporarily.

For longer term, you should get your wisdom tooth extracted from a dentist/oral surgeon.

I know some other people have given the same answer but it is so effective that i had to endorse their view so that you would be convinced beyond doubt to at least give it a try...place a clove on the painful area and keep it there until it mixes with your saliva and there is no other taste in your mouth except the cloves.Trust me,it works.
All the best.

I just had mine pulled last month. Mine were pushing so hard that my front teeth were turning sideways. drinking warm tea may help sooth the pain and Ibuprofrin can help too but I did not find anything that got rid of the pain. If you can afford it have them pulled as soon as possible. they can cause worse problems if you leave them in. The medical term for what you are feeling is impacted teeth. Try looking it up in some web searches may be you can find some home remedies that way too

Not every wisdom tooth needs to be removed! A large number do but I know many people with their wisdom teeth and not have problems with them. Take IBprophen or anything with a anti-inflamatory in it also use cloves juice (if you can still find it I think they took it off the market because of usage abuse) or orajel. but go see your doctor and see what he says!

Get it pulled. You'll feel a thousand times better and the discomfort is far less than the tooth its self.

For that type of pain over the counter medicine is not going to touch it.You need to go to your doctor and more than likely he/she will prescribe you a narcotic such as Lortab..I sympathize with you I went through that 4 mos ago and that is what my doctor gave me..I hope you get to feeling better.

the best thing to do is get them cut out because no matter what you take the pain will keep coming back but try ibuprofen and placing a warm towel to the area
