Yes I did... through an online game. We just so happened to be in the exact same servers two days in a row. What are the odds? He was also a good friend of my brother. We talked for a month online before meeting each other face to face.
He looked exactly like his picture... well, I thought he looked a little cuter in person. ; } We clicked online and we clicked in person. He ended up being my first real boyfriend.
I was never more nervous in my entire life than the moment we met. I never did anything like this before. I was afraid I wasn't going to like him anymore. But everything turned out great. We broke up months later, but that's because he was going to move away very far. Our lives were going in different directions. But we're still great friends to this day.
It was an experience I'll never forget.

I met my girlfriend on line 3 months ago and things are going great. We didn't have any pictures to go by. we just talked for about 2 wks everday on the computer and on the phone. So there were no expectations.
She looked better than I could have ever expected and things are going great. I have never been so much in love and we spend time with each other all the time.

I've met a few people from on line. One man I was with 2 1/2 years. I drove from WV to LA, it was my vacation and instead of getting in my car and driving to an unknown destination I met him for lunch. I've met in a Mall with a guy from on line and I've had drinks with another. I refused to meet anyone privately, or give my phone number out. The men I've met I saw pictures of them prior to meeting. I have never gotten on line, talked to someone, and ran out and met them...it was a gradual process that took many weeks of communication before anything was set up. My experiences have been disappointing for the most part in the actual meeting, I was happier talking on line to them, I made 100's of on line friends over the years, male and female, young and old. The guy I was with for 2 1/2 years was/is a pathalogical liar. He lied about being married, seperated and worse divorced. He lied about all the women he met on here and was still meeting. For every lie he told and I caught him in the lie he had a very convincing excuse. When I decided not to meet any more men from the net I met and fell in love with a hometown man, someone right under my nose that I almost missed meeting because I was too busy looking elsewhere.

One that I met online was a plus-size model who used her professional photos in her profile. I barely recognized her in person.
Oh, and we never had a second date, I think because during dinner I couldn't quit looking down at her chest... not because of her huge bosom being at all attractive (she looked out of proportion), but because I kept wondering how long before the top button on her blouse was going to give up its fight against the pressure and fly across the table into my soup.

They never meet your expectations 100%. Many post old photos, especially women, and they often underestimate their weight by a big amount.
One time I met a babe that asked me if I liked thin women. I said I do, better thin than fat. Like really thin? Yes, that's ok. When I met her she literally had anorexia. At least I got to have two dinners that night.

Close, the pic was maybe 10 yrs old but she sure could kiss. A bit of a let down at first but it ddid develope into a 3 year relationship.

yea i did and he looked almost the same way he does in all his photos except he was taller. But everything worked out great. we dated for like a month and den he broke up wit me on our anniversary, aint that a b i t c h?
